Mr. Corn was elected to the board of governors for the New York/New Jersey Foreign Freight Forwarders and Brokers Association in 2013 and was elected to the office of Treasurer in 2016. Dave also serves as the Area 2 Representative for the NCBFAA on behalf of our Association.
David serves as co-lead for the trade in the Trade Support Network’s Drawback Working Group, leading efforts to build and transform the duty drawback program through changes to policy, business rules, regulations and statute where possible. David currently serves as the co-chair for AAEI’s Drawback and Duty Deferral Committee and as the vice chair for the NCBFAA’s Drawback Subcommittee.
In January 2022, Mr. Corn was appointed to the 16th term of the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC). In January 2024 he was reappointed to serve on the 17th term of COAC where he was selected by CBP and his peers to be the COAC Trade lead.
Mr. Corn has a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in Consumer Affairs and is both a Licensed Customs Broker and Certified Customs Specialist. He resides in Morris County, NJ with his wife Danielle and their four children, Natalie, Charlotte, Evelyn, and Jonathan.
